Privacy
Shafaq is a small game. It keeps as little about you as it can.
What we store
- The name you pick and the country you choose.
- Your scores, and when each run started and finished.
- A random device key, so the game knows it's you next time. It isn't linked to your phone, your accounts or anything else. We only keep a scrambled copy of it.
Your best scores, colour choice and sound setting are also saved in your own browser, on your device.
What we don't collect
- No email address, phone number or account.
- No location. Your country is only the one you pick.
- No contacts, photos or anything else from your device.
- No ads, no tracking cookies and no analytics. The game doesn't load anything from other companies.
What's public
Your name, your flag and your best score appear on the world ranking, which anyone can see. Nothing else about you is shown.
Changing or deleting your data
To change your name or country, tap your name at the top of the title screen.
To delete your name and scores, email hello@playshafaq.com with the name you play under. We'll remove it from the ranking and our records.
Where it lives
The game and the ranking run on Cloudflare. Like any website, Cloudflare handles your connection to deliver the page, but we don't keep logs of who plays.
